Esther Brol is a renowned specialist in strategic communication, public relations, and corporate event planning. With more than 25 years of experience, she is the founding partner of Communication Consulting Group, from where she has advised companies, embassies, international organizations, and both private and public sector institutions in Guatemala and Central America.
Her expertise includes the design and implementation of communication strategies, media training, public speaking, crisis prevention and management, speechwriting, and the development of key messages and talking points. She is also highly skilled in editing and proofreading texts, as well as training in oral, non-verbal, and written communication.
In the meetings and events industry, Esther holds a specialized diploma and several international certifications, including Certified Event Production (CEP), Certified Sustainable Events (CES), Certified Congress Management (CCM), and Certified Meetings Specialist (CMS). She is also a Service Best Trainers Trainer and a Certified Professional Speaker through the Panamerican Business School, credentials that reinforce her leadership in designing and producing high-level corporate events.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Francisco Marroquín University, a Master’s degree in Reengineering, Computer Science, and Social Communication Technologies from Galileo University in Guatemala, and a Master’s degree in Senior Management from the Colegio de Líderes Fundación Miguel Cornejo in Mexico. She also holds a Diploma in National Strategic Studies from the Foundation for Institutional Development of Guatemala / Centro ESTNA and has completed various international courses in corporate communications and emergency procedures with Continental Airlines (now United Airlines) in Houston and Copa Airlines in Panama.
Esther has served as a professor at Istmo and Galileo universities in Guatemala. She is the past president of the Guatemalan Conventions and Visitors Bureau and currently serves on the boards of directors of the Asociación de Gerentes de Guatemala, Habitat for Humanity Guatemala, Camino Seguro / Safe Passage, Fundación Infantil Ronald McDonald, and Funguamex.
As an active Rotarian, she is a founding member of the Guatemala La Reforma Rotary Club (2016) and the Academia Guatemalteca Rotaria de Artes y Letras (2021). A Rotarian since 2008 and a former Rotaractor from 1994 to 1997, she is also the co-creator of the Rotary Upcycling Art Festival, the flagship project of her Rotary club.
